We’re excited to announce the launch of the new, completely redesigned Van Doorn website. Designed to offer a more user-friendly experience, the new website highlights the services we provide, as well as introducing you to our staff. We’re also delighted to showcase some of our most exciting projects, illustrating our involvement in the ventures as well as presenting images of our cranes in action.

We’ll also be regularly updating our news section, bringing you information about changes in the industry, blogs about our recent projects, and advice for best practices when working with tower cranes. We hope you find these interesting and informative, and encourage you to check back frequently to discover our latest content.

Over the past couple of years, we’ve been busy working across the globe on such stimulating undertakings as the Leadenhall Building and the Shard in London, La Vegona Hydroelectric Dam in Honduras, and the South African solar power station – Khi Solar One.

Undoubtedly, one of our favourite projects was Baltimore Tower in London’s Isle of Dogs, an interestingly designed residential skyscraper, which boasts a distinctive twisting shape, achieved by moving the balconies on each level slightly to the right of the one immediately below it.

We were involved in the erection, climb and dismantle of one crane. This was especially challenging, as the ties – designed by Terex Comedil and used on this project – were the largest ever implemented.

As one of the leading companies in tower crane consulting, no project is too big for the team at Van Doorn. From pre-construction, right through to dismantling, we work hard to ensure your job is completed as efficiently as possible, and in the most economical way.

We hope you like our new-look website and look forward to working with you to solve your tower and mobile crane needs.
